Jarvis Avenue

Thank you to David Hemingray for this report:

Our chosen charity that Nottingham Jarvis Avenue have been supporting for a few years now is:-

Emmanuel House Support Centre

Supporting homeless and vulnerable adults in Nottingham since 1976

Elisabeth and I delivered the sleeping bags to Emmanuel House this afternoon and they were gratefully received.

Talking to a staff member today, some of the people who use Emmanuel House for food and daytime shelter do live in accommodation but cannot afford heating, so these bags will come in very useful

I attach a couple of photographs which Liz took of our delivery to Emmanuel House (That’s me in the middle!)

We have as an ecclesia agreed to take at least 4 collections in 2018 to support the great work that you have set up and also left it to individuals to separately contribute if they so wish

I walked around our members last Sunday showing them one of the bags .

As an ecclesia some of our members have been visiting Emmanuel House on Sundays to cook and serve lunch to our friends and also to give a short Bible talk to those who show an interest
