Report from Blackburn Christadelphians:
30 ‘bags of
love’ were taken down to the Drop-in Centre run by THOMAS on a bitterly cold
lunch time on the margins of Blackburn city centre. Dozens of people were
taking advantage of a hot meal provided at the centre. Thomas were delighted to
handle the distribution of our sleeping bags (in which we’d also placed thermal
hats, chocolate and a Glad Tidings) ensuring they go to people who need them.
As well as
providing a warm place to go and a hot meal THOMAS have another centre dealing
with rehabilitation and recovery.
