Report from Stirling Christadelphians:
It was the week before Christmas when we took
delivery of our allocated sleeping bags at Stirling ecclesia. Our young people
got together on Sunday evening and spent some social time together after being
put to work sorting the delivery. They added a warm hat, a copy of Life’s
Biggest Questions and a wee slip introducing the meeting at Stirling. It’s
always good for our young people to spend extra time together, and after a day
looking at God’s word, it was good to see it in action.
We contacted the local Salvation Army in Falkirk
who were very pleased to take the bags and arranged a time to take them over.
We were able to speak to their Street Worker Campbell and have arranged to meet
with him again in the New Year to discuss other ways the young people, or the
whole ecclesia can become more involved in other projects. We will be looking
at inviting Campbell along to talk to the youngsters when they have their
Sunday School Activity day early in the New Year.
