Here is a report from our Worcester church- it's not too late to join our 'Hug a Home' project- we would love to hear from you!
At Worcester
we have been pleased to take part in the Hug-a-Home project. With funding from
COG we purchased some blankets and treats for the staff, wrapped them all up
(with some mince pies and Christmas carols, naturally!) and were hoping to go
and give them out individually to each resident.
However, the
plans of having some social time with the residents was dashed as new Covid
restrictions were put in place. Instead the presents were dropped off at the
home to the absolute delight of the care home manager.
Thanks for such a great idea that can bring joy to people, especially when lots are feeling anxious.
