Exeter

Once more we have been given the opportunity to support the Exeter Night Shelter at "The Junction" this winter. We are providing a microwaveable meal for 30 people every fortnight, and at our last “Lunch & Learn” everyone brought items for, and then helped to pack small “Bags of Love” for those who use the Night Shelter. These male and female bags contained toiletries, gloves, hats, vitamins etc.
We dropped off our latest meal on Monday evening, along with the “bags of love,” towels, crockery and cutlery that the shelter can make use of until the end of March 2020.
The staff at the shelter are always very grateful for the support they receive from various Churches in Exeter and were thankful to receive the Greggs Gift Vouchers provided by COG – and were impressed at what COG do, from our short conversation with them.
Here are Rebecca & Simon with the evening staff from the Shelter, and one of the local PCs.
