LOCKDOWN VOUCHER

Here is how our Wigan church used their £50 lockdown voucher:

We matched the voucher from our funds and donated the £100 to SWAP as we have done before.

 Long before asylum seekers were in the main news SWAP was established to help, hence its name Support for Wigan Arrivals Project which is about helping asylum seekers and refugees to integrate into the local community.

 More recently there has been an increased influx to the area dominating a local hotel. As a consequence SWAP have established providing aid with donating clothing.  Specifically the donation from COG and ourselves will be used by SWAP in providing toiletries for those resident at the hotel.
