SOUTHAMPTON

Some of the members of Southampton Christadelphians decided they would like to apply for a COG grant to help the homeless in Southampton. We decided on a Bags of Love project and phoned around charities that help the homeless and asked what they needed most. When we phoned Two Saints they were in need of sleeping bags. We contacted COG who ordered 20 sleeping bags to be sent to us.

We tied a little note to each sleeping bag for each recipient to explain who sent them and thank Two Saints for distributing them. We then took them to Two Saints Day Centre in Southampton where they were gratefully received by the charity who would pass them onto homeless people in Southampton.

We thank our Heavenly Father for giving us the opportunity to help those in need.
